Великие фильмы о любви:
Если спросить любого человека – какие великие фильмы о любви он может назвать, то по началу вопрос может показаться чуть ли не банальным. Фильмов о любви огромное количество. Выбор огромный…
Но вот если, именно великие, а не просто хорошие и именно про любовь, а не как одна из линий сюжета? То над этим вопросом стоит подумать.
А потом начинаешь задумываться: что значит великие? Признанные киношедевры или великие для тебя лично? Ведь, наверное, у каждого есть фильм, который по его мнению, лучше всего рассказывает о любви.
Вот и хотелось бы узнать: какие фильмы о любви вы считаете великими и хотели бы показать другим?

Чаплин закончил работу над сценарием к «Огням большого города» осенью 1928 года. В это же время выходит на экраны «Певец джаза» – первый звуковой фильм, который повлек за собой целый переворот в киноискусстве и в кинопромышленности. Вся Америка была увлечена говорящими фильмами, так называемыми «talkies».
Чаплина очень взволновало новое изобретение, он ходил в большие кинотеатры, наблюдал за реакцией публики, даже сделал несколько пробных звуковых съемок. В результате он решает продолжать снимать немую картину, заявляя, что «говорящие» фильмы явились для того, чтобы испортить искусство пантомимы и уничтожить великую красоту молчания.
Но работая над «Огнями большого города», Чаплин все же воспользовался новыми технологиями записи звука. Озабоченный тем, что во многих кинотеатрах таперы играют мелодии совершенно не имеющие никакого отношения к тому, что творится на экране, он написал партитуру к фильму, для того чтобы каждое действие сопровождалось собственной музыкальной темой.
Если бы Чаплин погнался тогда за веяниями моды и сразу стал бы снимать «говорящее» кино, наделив героев картины «Огни большого города» словами, возможно, история любви бродяги к слепой цветочнице потеряла бы свою глубину. Ведь любви слова не нужны, все понятно без слов.

If to ask any person, whether he can remember/name any great films about love, the person himself, at the beginning, might even think that the question is being quite banal/trivial – there’s such an enormous amount of good films bout love.. the choice is sooo varied.. But.. If to think exactly of a Really Great Love Films & not just the good ones where’s love is simply 1 of the plot lines.. That’s the question that bothers the most (is the most interesting).
Tho, when thinking of 1 (Great Love Film), straight away, you’d start wondering what exactly is meant by “Great” – the 1 that is recognized by the majority as a masterpiece or the 1 that is great for you in particular?.. As, I’m sure of that, for each person, there’d be that 1 special film they believe fully describes their understanding of true love.
That is why it’s so interesting to know which film would YOU consider as the Best One About Love.

Chaplin finished his scenario for the «City Lights» in autumn 1928.. more or less, at the same time when got released the 1st sound film «The Jazz Singer», which was meant to be a revolutionary-start-point in whole of the cinematography.
Whole of the America was captured by, what was called at those times, the «talkies». Chaplin got quite worried with the new invention – he even went to the cinemas observing the audiences reactions & tried making a few of his own sound films.. As a result tho, he decided to continue with releasing silent movies, declaring that the «talkies» appeared there only for destroying the art of pantomime & the great beauty of silence. Although in the making of «City Lights», he did go with the help of new sound-recording-technologies.
Being worried with the fact that usually, for any of the silent films, pianists played just some random music, he wrought a score for whole of the film so that every/any scene would have had its own sound & mood.
I believe that if Chaplin would have just blindly ran after new-sound-trend & straight away began shooting «talkies» enduing his «City Lights» characters with voices, the love story of a homeless boy to a blind flower girl would have lost its depth. As.. Love doesn’t need no words – all is understood even without them.”
